Barwon Health Palliative Care Program is seeking to appoint a full time Supportive Care Worker (Spiritual) to work in their Supportive Care Team at the McKellar Centre, North Geelong.
The aim of this position is to provide advanced and professional supportive care to people who are living with a life limiting illness, and their families and carers, within a spiritual/pastoral care context.
You will be a qualified clinician with extensive experience in spiritual and/or bereavement counselling/support care. You will bring exemplary communication skills and maturity to the program as well as the ability to work autonomously and as a team member. You will also demonstrate work practices that promote wellbeing and good health for self and team members, and a willingness to work within a multidisciplinary model of care.
